Artist based in Lancaster mainly ink drawings, some paint, lettering and more! Prints available thr Or keep me in mind for that perfect unique gift.
I grew up in Durham and have lived in Lancaster since I was 18. I have started drawing some of the buildings that make me appreciate and enjoy these cities, buildings that I have spent a lot of time around or are iconic to the areas. I draw using pigment ink and my artwork is available to buy as prints made using high quality Bockingford paper. If you have a building that is close to your heart an
A very happy and very late thank you to for selecting 3 of my solar plate etchings for their 2024 Print Competition and Exhibition!!

Got my work up for the week! Come down and take a look, the standard of work this year is fantastic π
These two works are the smallest and biggest in my current Williamson's Power Station exhibition they are also the only two of the site from a historical perspective. The first is a wood engraving of the site based on a ariel shot, the second is an imagining of the power station with heaps of coal in front - drawing inspiration from Tom Bowker's poem 'Our tip' which describes working at the Lune Mills works.
The exhibition runs until August 31st so pop down and take a look if you're in the area!
Did I mention my exhibition is ongoing until August 31st all about the old Williamson's Power Station on Lune Industrial estate π
This image shows the back of the building as it stands now after the fire in December 2023, drawn with on coloured see through acrylic sheeting and sealed with Lacquer π this is A2 and looks fab IRL so get down and have a look while the exhibition is still running π
So I'd been holding off posting some of these artwork from the Williamson's exhibition at The Dukes until it went live... Now that it's open I figured I'd start sharing some of the works that are showing π
I think this might be my favourite piece of the exhibition, an aluminum etching of the big pile of rubbish on A3, this was a lot of fun to create and just makes me want to do more ππ
Head down and see it IRL, the exhibition runs until August 31st π
Getting ready for tonight's private view 6-8pm! All welcome π
Only having a teeny tiny freak out about it! π¬π
The show looks great though and it runs until August 31st if you can't make tonight π

So if any North East folk are around and about come down and say hi π
My new exhibition 'A recent history of Williamson's Power Station' will be opening at the Dukes next week. Running for 2 months it is all about the old power station building and the fire that burned over December 2023! There will be a selection of artworks, an A4 photo book containing some mind blowing photos of before the fire AND Lancaster Museums are loaning some old photos from Lune Mills when it was a functioning site!
Private view is Friday 12th July 6-8pm, very excited to show all this body of work finally π
It's only a week until I hang my new exhibition 'A recent history of Williamson's Power Station' all the artwork is nearly complete and I'm very excited!

Had such a fun day today type workshop! It's the last workshop of my thanks for the support with my quest to learn printmaking! It's been the best!

I'll put them up in the studio so no one else has to look at them haha but what a fantastic creative day just letting loose and having fun βΊοΈ

Okay, okay, I've been holding out on you all! I must have made about 10 pieces of artwork I'm hoarding that I haven't posted on here.....
They're mostly going to be incorporated into my new exhibition which starts in about a month's time! Private view 12th July 6pm if you're about π.
This exhibition is a culmination of the work I have been producing this past year thanks to grant. The exhibition focus will be the old Williamsonβs Power Station on Lune industrial estate, most recently used as Supa Skips. The company had their licence revoked in 2022 and abandoned the property with 13,000 tonnes of waste inside.
On the 3rd of December 2023 the building was set alight, a huge blaze took hold and burned until the 26th Dec, costing Lancaster Council over Β£900,000 to extinguish and creating an environmental disaster. Further pockets of fire continued to reignite over the following weeks and the final bill for the waste removal and demolition of outbuildings is set to reach Β£1.4 Million.
The exhibition will include rarely seen historical photos from the Lune Mills industrial site, showing Williamsonβs Lino empire at its height and giving an insight into the scale of the works. Kindly loaned from
I've also made an accompanying photo booklet to support the exhibition which runs at 44 pages and is a good mix of photographs artworks and information about the building and subsequent fire, these will be for sale at the private view for Β£10 each π
I'm very very excited for this one and hope anyone with an interest in this building and it's story can make it!

This was a little mother's day gift for my mum π₯° This is a scene from her childhood in where she grew up.
The were long gone when I was born having been closed down and demolished in 1980. My grandad worked there for many years as a blast furnace man, I never knew the details of that or really thought about what it meant until recently..
My recent artwork prompted conversations with her, reminding her of 'The Works' growing up - it's presence in the town, the sounds from it ever present and the red glow and dust that famously covered the town and buildings in its shadow!
It's been very enlightening and I'm off to Port Talbot in a couple of weeks to try and get a sense of what it was like living with the steelworks.. Very exciting!
Can't believe how well this print came out π so exciting getting work together for my upcoming summer exhibition which will be focused all around Williamsons Power Station and the old Lune Mills site!
