๐ท๐ผ๐ธ Caroline from Incredible Incredible Edible Meanwood:
Hi everyone,
We will be meeting for our monthly Sunday session this week, 27th October 11-1pm at Meanwood Community centre.
There will be bulb planting, mulching with woodchip, and making rosehip syrup.
I will be sharing a super simple recipe for Rosehip syrup, that's packed with vitamin C and other goodies to help banish the winter bugs.
Rosehips (the fruit of any type of rose plant):
๐น contains vitamins A, B, C, E and K
๐น at least 20 times more vitamin C than in an orange
๐น high iron content
๐น natural, nutritional and has heaps of anti-oxidants and minerals
๐น eases pain and stiffness of chronic arthritis
๐น soothes a cold
๐น helps regenerate new skin cells and treat scars, acne and burns
๐น re-hydrates your skin
๐น also used for diabetes, high cholesterol, gout and sciatica.
Please bring a clean jar, and some rosehips if you have any (we will also bring some, so don't worry if you don't have any)
Hope to see you there
Caroline
