Type of social work: I’m not quite sure exactly what social work I want to go into and am hoping my placements will help guide me more- atm I’m leaning towards geriatric social work or forensic social work

Type of social work interested in: I have always been interested in working with children and families, however I completed my adults placement in 2nd year and loved it!

Year: Going into 3rd year (FML)

Future job: Once I finish I want to go into child protection and work towards becoming a therapist for children

Heyyy my name is Issie and I’m the Treasurer for SWS

I’m in charge of making sure money is being spent properly but also making sure we have fun!!

One fun fact about me is that I’ve raised money to travel to Costa Rica, where we helped to build water access for a school & trekked through a rainforest 🌴🌺

One fun fact about me is that my first job was as a Christmas Elf at my local shopping centre- I have not worn the awful lycra costume since! 🎄
