Played my first festival. Surreal full circle moment.

Storytime… This weekend i got to play my first ever festival and it was in the freaking artist village at my favourite festival in the 🌍- @weoutherefest I wanna say thanks to @ellaknight__ for trusting me and @manudigs for everything else🙏💛 To do my first festival on exactly 11th August 2023, 50 years on from when DJ Kool Herc & his sister Cindy Campbell threw their first hip hop block party is actually crazy and feels so full circle. I live and breathe this genre + every sub genre that’s come from it. It’s a trip how far the music has come. The craziest part of this night was when I got back and saw that the first hip hop magazine I ever owned - @wordplaymagazine had featured me… like whaaaa you actually can’t make it up. I am a musician/artist from Shepherd’s Bush, West London. I am originally from Los Angeles, California, where I was born; I lived there for 7 years of my life. This has had a very strong influence on who I am as a person. I take a lot from the American Hip Hop culture, in terms of the music I listen to and my general outlook on life. I have also been largely shaped by the UK culture and especially the area that I live in. My background and the music I listen to has definitely motivated me to create art that I work so hard for - mainly to ensure it is of the highest possible standard. I am a young man with drive, ambition and a dream to be the best. My music isn’t constricted to one genre, I want to delve into a number of different sounds and styles, creating my own unique sound and changing music forever. However, in simple terms, it is incredible beats and meaningful lyrics - a simple formula that I believe will take me to the very top.
