19/10/24 - Leeds Corinthians RUFC
Autumn means many things, one of which is Rugby Union Season. Leeds Corinthians RUFC’s Pitch was looking strikingly good on Saturday, so I thought, why not get the DRONE out and take some photos. The Pitch looks amazing.
Welcome to Winter Rugby!
9/5/24 - Garden Photography
I’ve been watching the Birds and Squirrel for a while now, and since the weather is so lovely and warm, I thought, why not open the French doors and photograph my Garden visitors.
I’ll have more later, but here’s a little sneak peek at our favourite visitor.
11/9/23 - Morning Glories
2/9/23 - Autumnal Sunset
One of my favourite walks is around Hook Moor Wind Farm. This is the first time I’ve been after the harvest. It was particularly lovely as the sun began to fade.
With the bales of hay stacked in the fields around the wind turbines and the sun lowering on the horizon, it felt very Autumnal.
27/8/23 - Black and White kind of day
Our Morning walk was under very Grey Dark Skies. It just felt like a B&W day to me, almost Autumn like, which I personally can’t wait for.
While walking and after taking these three photos, I kept thinking about Ansel Adams (1902-1984) my very favourite B&W Photographer, as a kid we had a book filled with his black & white photography, it was a fascinating book. I know I’ll never be as good as he was, but I take inspiration from his amazing photography, and I’ll try.
22/8/23 - Teenage Boys
I wanted to make a Record Album Cover for the boys, in grunge style, but then which photo to choose. So I did a few, along with a Magazine Cover too.
They actually look better than I thought they would.
22/8/23 - Natural Nature
It’s not often you get to walk amongst Highland Cattle with ease. Yorkshire Sculpture Park has two, one Brownish/Red and the other is Whiteish. That being said, I don’t suggest you get to close. They’re happy to walk along and eat grass as you take a photo or two, but get too close, they will nudge you out of their way with their horns.
I did feel very sorry for them though. They were riddled with flies, mostly by their eyes. One of the Cows I didn’t post photos of, was a lot worse off, which I won’t describe, hence not posting any photos.
22/8/23 - Sculptures
Let’s face it, the clue is in the name, Yorkshire “Sculpture” Park.
These are just a few of the Sculptures from yesterdays visit. Although the Bunny is, I believe, a permanent sculpture at the Park, and quite well known.
The one thing I always get from visiting, sculptures are, can be, different with every visit, making each visit unique, interesting and memorable, leaving you wanting to return again and again.
22/8/23 - Lines
Yorkshire Sculpture Park is always fun to visit. The Sculptures are forever changing, meaning that every visit is a completely different experience.
This is the first time I’ve had the chance to walk into St. Bartholowmew’s Church. Much to my surprise it was built by a relative (distant cousin-very distant) back in c.17(blob).
I immediately fell in love with all the lines and corners, the soft minimalistic swirl of the staircase makes for a graceful walk up and down, the rounded ceilings adding character to the open space with windows on either side that provide a seating area as well as the windows in the centre letting in natural sunlight.
Equally, I always love seeing the greenhouse at YSP, as you walk around the building every corner is the same, but different.
Art is all around us, if we just look beyond what is on display.
Our Morning walk never disappoints. To live along, in my opinion, a beautiful stretch of the Aire and Calder Navigation, just outside of Leeds City Centre, right on our doorstep at that, makes me feel so lucky to live in this Village.
The sun was shining, the temperature was just right, and although it was a short walk, I believe he enjoyed it.
Lovely Morning for a walk, I managed to see the last few Daisies for this summer. Thought I’d try something a little different too, by putting a Frame around a couple of these photos….what do you think?
I couldn’t resist taking this photo, all the colours just popped. Have a great Saturday.
Camden Town.
When visiting London, we always stop in Camden Town, it’s such a bustling, interestingly unique city. It never disappoints. With a variety of Indoor/Outdoor Market Stalls, there’s something for everyone. You are even spoiled for choice by the food stalls.
I’m always amazed at the Street Art, I love the colours and themes, which are like the seasons, always changing. And for the first time, I got to see the “Space” like homes along the Regents Canal.
If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I could never see myself living there, but visiting (once in a while) is always a treat. Visiting places such as St. Paul’s Cathedral, The Underground, The London Eye and The “Pickle”.
In addition I’ve made a few Magazine Covers.
A few of my Favourite photos from a few different places in Portugal.
A trip to the Coast is relaxing. Recently the weather hasn’t been overly accommodating, but never the less, made for some spectacular views.
Recent Photo Shoots of these boys in their Clubs Kit. Hunslet ARLFC, Leeds Corinthians RUFC and Oulton Raiders ARLFC.
I’ve done a Magazine Cover for one of the Lads.
