Hi all Joe here, we as a family wanted to say thanks to the lovely people involved with the following Facebook groups Blast from the past toys The toys team Ghostbooters Oolas booty 4ever retro They have teamed up to create a special auction for our little boy Noah. We’ve not talked about Noah’s health or situation via our shop page before but as it’s kind of out there now we wanted to share it. This is the first 60 seconds of the video Simon Matthew’s made for the full video please join one of the groups to get involved. The following is copied and pasted from the post on Oolas. ‘Oola's Booty are pleased to be taking part in a cross group fundraiser being organised by Dean Treble and Simon Matthews to raise money for Noah Hand a young lad and son of Joseph Hand well known among you from the Leicester Vintage & Old Toy shop. Noah was unfortunately born with only half a working heart this has meant throughout his life Noah has had to endure repeated hospital trips, operations and illness. Sadly the family have now been told that no further treatment is possible to improve Noah's condition and his health will deteriorate and very very sadly fail him. All of us parents know the pain of a child being ill, most of of us are fortunate these are short periods in our lives with recovery in sight. To be given the news that a child's life is limited is heartbreaking. Joseph and his family have made sure Noah's life has been filled with love and smiles and as many good experiences as possible and it would be fantastic if across the groups this fundraiser can enable the Hand's to spend more time with Noah making family memories, hopefully somewhere warm!
