Here's the Jan/Feb line-up for my blues sessions at Leigh Community Centre.
RAMON GOOSE, blues and world music guitar virtuoso, is special guest on Weds Jan 3. CONNOR SELBY, now one of the UK's busiest blues artists, was booked for this date but he will now be playing with me on Feb 7.
On Jan 17, its my guitar/drums duo featuring ROY WEBBER - raw blues with a kick! It went down well at the Ain't Nothin' But blues bar so we're now bringing it to Leigh.
There's a double treat on Feb 21, with the great DEXTER SHAW on guitar and vocals and his wonderful daughter FRANCA SHAW on double bass.
It's still only a fiver to get in and there's a licensed bar by SK EventBars. Hope to see you there.

The Grapevine in Rye is one of the coolest, classiest bars in the UK, so it's good to be part of their line-up for the Rye Jazz & Blues Festival. I'm there on Friday August 25, from 12noon.
The festival kicks off on Thursday August 24 and I have two gigs on that day - the Old Bell at 5pm and the Ship at 8pm.
The music carries right through to Monday with a host of wonderful acts. I heartily recommend it.

Dart Music Festival
Well, we may not be meeting for the festival, but we can still unite through the music.
Here's some brilliance from Martin McNeill's Bottleneck Blues to make your Friday a bit better.
Every day we are going to highlight the amazing talent we had in our line up for 2020.... but we aren’t going to let them go that easily... and we are going to try and bring them all back next year. So please, enjoy the music, back the acts, stream or buy the albums if you can, and let’s all meet back in May 2021 for one heck of a party.

Cogwheel Trust events
If you're shopping online, here's a way you can help a great little charity in the process.
A whole lot of household names are signed up to the easyfundraising scheme. When you make purchases, the retailer gives a small donation to your chosen charity.
The low-cost counselling services of the Cogwheel Trust are needed more than ever in these difficult time. People turn to Cogwheel on the advice of their doctor, psychiatrist, or children's mental health worker.
Cogwheel is run by my daughter. It could have collapsed under the lockdown but instead she and her team, with technical help from my grandson Barnaby McNeill, quickly switched the service online. I am so proud of them.
It is under great financial pressure. Any money they might get through your shopping via easyfundraising would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
The Cogwheel Trust is really struggling at the moment as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak and the need for counselling and psychotherapy services we provide in Cambridgeshire is greater than ever.
We have been working flat out to set up our service online so that people can still receive counselling.
Over 4,000 sites will give us a free donation every time you shop online. Please register with easyfundraising. When you shop via their website or App, retailers will make a much needed donation.
