🌈The benefits of colour co-ordination🌈

I am a big advocate for Colour co-ordination in any room, playroom, closet, books etc, while many would argue that it is more of a self indulgent act and just for aesthetics, i really have to disagree. Yes the effect will give you more of an aesthetically pleasing room, but more importantly it will make it incredibly easy for the children to tidy up a playroom/bedroom and to learn and have fun whilst doing it. The best way to guide you, use the rainbow. I go by the acronym ROYGBIV as a reminder: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.

Playtime is messy, so organising may be the last thing you think of when it comes to a playroom. But that’s exactly why an organised system is crucial in a playroom. It’s not to keep the room from ever getting messy-it’s a playroom 🤷🏽‍♀️ but it’s to make everything easy to clean up again.

When you’re a child, cleaning up after yourself is a relatively new concept. The best way to help them learn is make sure everything has a clear and designated place to go. Make sure you are stocked up with Baskets, drawers, and cupboards and take the time to label or color-code to make tidying-up even quicker.

I create stations in playrooms as that will immediately eliminate confusion on where to put things back. Areas may include, reading area, dressing up area, babies/dollies, teddies, trains/Cars and arts & crafts.
But what I can promise you is once you get started, you’ll love it and become obsessed 🙈

🖤 Happy Clients = Happy Stylean 🖤

It was an absolute pleasure working with this gorgeous happy family on making their incredible house a home. They have been building their stunning home for 5 years and it was most certainly worth the wait! This move was a full 7 days but the Stylean team had so much fun, we just want to do it all over again 💪🏼! I personally saw the amount of blood, sweat and tears that went into this home and it’s moments like that, that make it even more magical 🖤

Radical Acceptance, what a powerful tool to own!

Dear All,

As most of you know I work closely with my local women’s refuge centre. This year I would like to arrange Christmas presents for both mothers and children who are currently in shelter.

If any of my lovely followers would like to help and donate a gift, I will be delivering them to the centre early/Mid December.

I have been given some suggestions below but any form of gift voucher or a luxury gift set to make them feel special would be wonderful.

- Luxury Hair/body gift sets
- Stationary
- High street vouchers
- Colouring books
- Lego
- Activities like arts and crafts

Please don’t wrap the presents as they will be distributed fairly and Please don’t include candles, razors or alcohol as they cannot be given due to safety reasons.

The Great British Obsession!

My personal preference is to store Tupperware with the matching lid as you can see on the 2nd shelf, In our house we loose lids quicker than socks 🤯! But this is not always practical especially if you are short on space and this particular client needs a lot of Tupperware. So the 1st shelf has lids separated. Great for saving space and you can clearly see what lid is needed.
