More free school meals 'would stop diet disaster' A national food strategy for England calls for an extension of the scheme to end childhood hunger.
Right all you lovely people - WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As we get ready to launch our new website and launch our 'new look' subscriptions, we're looking at new packaging too! We currently send out the white boxes shown in grey postal bags, but looking to swap to the bright blue bubble bags instead.
This will still allow the contents to reach you in the same perfect condition they leave us but children will be met with a more colourful parcel, it can also fit through your letterbox if you're not home (the boxes are too big for this) and it makes the postage a little cheaper for you guys too!
Before we make the final decision, we'd appreciate if you could leave a comment below to let us know which you prefer, box or bubble bag?
UPDATE - the boxes and grey mailer bags AND the blue bubble bags are all recyclable!
Many thanks.

RASPBERRY RIPPLE ICE POPS
What you'll need:
250g raspberries, 1 banana, 2 tbsp clear runny honey, 350g low fat plain yogurt. Blender/food processor, weighing scales, measuring tablespoon, sieve, 3 small bowls, ice lolly moulds.
Blitz the raspberries in a blender until you get a smooth puree. Push through a sieve to remove the seeds and pop the puree to one side. No need to wash the blender. Peel and chop the banana into chunks, add to the blender along with the honey and 4 tbsp of the yogurt. Blitz until smooth. Pour into a bowl and stir in the remaining yogurt. Divide the mixture between the 3 bowls. Add 1 spoon of the raspberry puree to the first bowl, 2 spoons of puree to the next bowl and the remaining puree to the last bowl giving them all a good mix. Starting with the lightest colour, fill your lolly pop mould about a third full. Repeat with the medium pink next and then finish with the darkest pink to give them a lovely layered finish. Pop in the freezer, ideally overnight or for at least 3-4 hours until set.
If you don't have a lolly pop mould, you can re-use old clean yogurt pots and just pop a lolly pop stick or small spoon inside!
Have fun and enjoy! 😋
BERRYLICIOUS SMOOTHIE ICE LOLLIES
What you'll need:
100g blackberries, 100g strawberries, 100g blueberries, 1 banana, 1 and 1/2 cups almond milk (but can use any other milk or water if preferred). A blender/food processor, weighing scales, chopping board & knife, ice lolly moulds.
Peel and chop your banana and add to the blender. Add the rest of the fruit and milk and blitz until smooth. Pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze, ideally overnight or at least 3-4 hours.
If you don't have ice lolly moulds, you can recycle old yogurt pots and just pop in a lollypop stick or small spoon!
If you have any mixture left over, add to a glass of ice for a really delicious smoothie.
Have fun and enjoy! 😋
