We frequently get asked, "how can you call yourself a Woodfire pizza shop but all we can see is a gas flame?"

The short answer is we use both!

With an oven as well insulated as ours if we were only to use wood it would be extremely difficult for us to maintain a constant cooking temperature, or regulate it during peak times when we are cooking high volume.

Wood fuelled fires are very unforgiving in terms of heat, over feed the flame and consistency becomes an issue!

Fair play to Phoenix Gas... minutes after reporting an issue with our gas they sent the full cavalry to get us up and going again!! The bies said... Lisburn cant be going without a Bobbys for too long so they all rushed to our rescue!
