This is a lovely little job that had to go to England which called for 3 hours driving to and from Dublin, 7 hours sailing to and from Holyhead and 10 hours driving to and from Gloucester.
Still, I am sure the new owner will pay the bill promptly.....

This a gorgeous live edge 12 seat Ash dining table with 2 half benches and a couple of centre islands from the offcuts.
Literally not enough waste to start a campfire which is perfect.
These pieces have very little resin as it simply wasn't required, the wood does all the talking.
Stunning hand made, bespoke dining set that will last a lifetime.

The problem with a hand made, bespoke 6 ft dia dining table (other than table envy from your family and friends) is that it's a bit of a reach to the centre.
This can make sharing a bottle a bit tricky.
The solution though is simple enough.

This Beech table was looking a bit worse for wear when it came into the studio.
It had a bow tie that was not the best, quite a lot of dents and scrapes from use and had been varnished with very heavy coats.
Sooooo, the bow tie has been scalloped out to create a resin feature, a new corner has been added to give it a more contemporary feel, all the scrapes and areas of deadwood have been filled and it is finished with oil.
It now looks and very importantly, feels like a piece of art you can eat your dinner off.😊

One of my favourite things in my business is when clients make use of their entire slab.
This project was a very decent sized Oak slab from .
We got a very nice dining table from it of course but from the offcut we also managed a couple of bespoke side tables, a little shelf and some very posh door wedges.

A beautiful Oak with so much cats paw detail.
My clients wanted the bark to stay on this table and form its own feature.
This is a calculated risk that requires quite a lot of hidden engineering to ensure the bark stays attached over the tables lifetime.
The images of this table catching the sunlight really highlight it.
With a coffee tinted resin and finished with chamfer top and bottom, this is a very stylish table and compliments it's home very nicely.
