It’s an attempt to track and understand virtual church service demand and online engagement on Sundays.
What does this say about people’s engagement with church during the COVID-19 pandemic response?
What does it say about the changing habits of church communities?
Is this the picture for churches other than PCI?
Will the return to meeting in physical places change the picture? Is is now time for innovative thinking to utilise church building capacities in new ways to cope with local demand? (Social distancing would be much simpler if demand were spread out over several facilities, given that some are vacant / under-utilised.)
