I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all our amazing clients. December has been hard month, but also full of great new opportunities. I am so grateful for all my cards, heartfelt messages, love and hugs. I am surrounded by the best team and clients ❤️

This Christmas our clients have spoilt us rotten but I just wanted to say how much we appreciate your continued support all year round. Without all our amazing clients we wouldn’t be able to do what we love.

The salon will be closed for a few days for a well earned break.

🙌🏻 Faye 🙌🏻

This time of year we like to use a lot a Faye’s natural colour to add depth and contrast against the blonde. This also means she can get longer out of her colour appointments (over 3 months from last colour 😱).

✨ Beautifully Blended Blonde ✨

This is an oldie that never made it to insta and I don’t know how I forgot about this one!

Keeping the ends bright and creamy but allowing some natural depth through the root to create a softer blend.
Finished with a bouncy blow dry using the GHD soft curl tong.

🧣 Winter Blonde 🧣

A little change up to suit the session. Still blonde but we opted for a cooler toner and kept a softer root.

My client has booked in for a maintenance appointment in 8 weeks where we can top up any blonde that wee need to a refresh the toner.

If any clients ever have any questions on prices or would like to have a rough quote before your appointment please don’t hesitate to ask.

I like to be as transparent as possible with pricing but extra time and product will be charged accordingly. This can make it hard to give quotes but I always try my best to be as accurate as possible.

My L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2023 entry

I loved creating this look and bringing it all together for a photoshoot.

Unfortunately this wasn’t my year, but I can’t wait to see all the finalists looks. This is an amazing competition and I really look forward to following the next stages in London.

It so easy to get caught up in the chaos that is salon life but I love constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying something different. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Tape Extensions

This transformation was created using 2 packs of beautyworks slimline 18” extensions. Our goal was to add thickness and a little length so the tapes are a perfect choice.

Keeping it soft and dimensional with a slight pop of brightness around the face.

My client has decided to give the bright blonde look a break and try abit more of a softer tone. We decided to do this slowly as she’s always been blond highlighted client.

We keep a bright face frame then tip out areas of lightness that needed it to blend the colour together and a creamy toner.

Just look at that condition and length. Can’t wait to see wheee this journey takes us ✨

🤍 Blonde Beauty 🤍

Bright but still keeping a soft regrowth. Styled using the GHD tong for bouncy loose curl.

💌 Bronde Lovin’ 💌

Bronde is a stunning trend for this time of year. The process of brightening up slightly, but not quite blonde. We didn’t use any lighter for this application, instead we used what the hair had naturally faded to and toned over the top adding a darker root. Finishing off with a blunt cut and soft wave.

No extensions just healthy and naturally thick!
Baby-light technique used to ensure there is natural depth for a softer regrowth.

Dreaming of warmer days and warmer tones 💭💭

We decided to go for a brighter blonde but then toned with a soft golden gloss to finish. Off course we went for bangs and a sharp cut✂️

Merry Christmas

Thank you to all our amazing clients for being so thoughtful, patient and generous. Not only this month but all year round the support the salon has is amazing and we couldn’t do any of it without our clients.

We have worked long days, there have been a few tears and stressful moments this month (the boiler being one of them 🤦🏼‍♀️). But it is all worth it and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Hope you all have a happy and healthy festive season 🎄

❌ Hair Model Search ❌

I am looking for a female that is willing to give me creative control of their hair (everything will be discussed beforehand). L’Oréal professional products will be used and all carried out by myself in GM Hair Lisburn. Possibly two different models needed for two different competitions. No experience needed.

Must be :
-Confident for photoshoot and possible catwalk.
-Have healthy hair.
-Willing to do something different with their hair.
-Flexible, there are no set dates but I will need a few sessions in salon to complete the hair and one full day for the photoshoot.

It will be a great chance for someone looking a change and some amazing opportunities, if interested, or know anyone that is please message for more information.

⭐️ The Beautiful Faye ⭐️

This week in the salon we booked an afternoon and took the time to get our colours done. (Faye done mine and I done Faye’s) We are always so busy keeping our clients hair looking fresh, our hair often gets neglected or done quickly at the end of the day then rinse it off yourself.
Glamours I know 💁‍♀️

This time we kept Faye’s colour softer, still keeping a POP of brightness around the front and using her natural depth inbetween the blonde. Faye normally opts for a cooler/ashy toner but this time we diluted the toner slightly creating this gorgeous tone.

Autumn Change

From bright summer blonde to soft warm tones 🍂

We wanted to change it up and have a more low maintenance colour. Opting for warm tones and adding some depth we created this gorgeous winter blonde.

🔳 Metal detox 🔳

Hard water contains metal that can deteriorate the condition of your hair, this could cause changing of colour or texture.

The Metal Detox treatment is a game changer. Neutralising the metals in your hair it gives us insurance and leaves your hair feeling amazing.

How does it work?
Step 1: Spray throughout the hair before colour service.

Step 2: Carry out service as normal.

Step 3: Use metal detox shampoo and mask at basin.
