On a bit of an impulse this week I attended level 1 yarn dyeing workshop. Before I went I had a think about colourways and chose a photo of Sophie with Stitch at Disneyland Paris (see photo 2). And with the super instruction from Dani and Sam look what I created!!! I have named it Stitch’s Angel 💕

I have decided to knit the by because, well, then I can wear it too 😜 I have uploaded photos on the night along with the skein and the cakes … just because I SO love the colourway.

This design is a mosaic knitting pattern but don’t let that put you off. This in an easy, repetitive and interesting knit!! And this yarn is so soft, so keep an eye for the release of this one 😉 you will need it!

I have “played” with this pattern for about 2 years and always ended up frogging it. I would see it on a podcast and try again, frog and repeat but look 👀 my is finished and blocked!!! AND I love it!!

To celebrate a finished pair of socks!! These are the pattern by Twinset & Purl’s I got this as part of the Bridgerton pack and can’t wait to try the Colin pattern next. I do prefer shortie socks so shortened the leg but a beautiful pattern!!

This is such a beautiful pattern, a simple but mindful knit.

I used Turning Leaves which was one of the Curiosity Club skeins from last year and the photos don’t do the colour justice.

Unfortunately, given the weather in Northern Ireland you would almost be fooled into thinking it’s time to wear this!

Still on my Twinset and Purl pattern spree and loving them all!! I am on holidays and have already finished a pair of socks and a cowl 💕

My daughter (8) and I were watching Laura’s podcast and I was told I NEEDED to make the jumper Laura had made for her daughter. I had the James C Brett Shh from so headed to Love Wool for some Drops Air and Kid Silk. A self drafted pattern later and we have the most beautiful jumper!!

The proceeds of this pattern will go to a local charity Pulmonary Fibrosis NI. My mum has recently been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and this charity provides excellent support to all the family. I have the link to the charity at the top of my profile for more information.

A lovely morning with my daughter with some beautiful Easter purchases. Sophie wanted a book about WWII so we popped into first. This book was recommended as a good one for children. And obviously she needed a book cover from to keep her book good. For anyone who knows Sophie, will understand the beautiful journal from 💕

Next I treated myself to another charm for my necklace from . The January charm, a snowdrop.

And finally, but definitely no means least, a lip balm from , Sophie can’t pass Valerie 😊 thank you so much.

A few more made in fabric. The purple is the medium size and the pink is large. Oh my …. This fabric and pattern combo is definitely one of my favs!!!!

When I saw had project bags I couldn’t resist!! I obviously needed one to go with my Persian Tiles blanket. These are beautiful bags perfect for larger projects, such as jumpers or a large shawl. I also couldn’t resist the Crafting Gnomes bag, it is cute!

Is this an excuse to cast on a new project? 😉😂🙈

Another finished shortie sock, both socks complete but only one in photo. I used yarn ice bubbles from their last year’s curiosity club with Victoria Sock pattern.

Thought I preferred the afterthought heel but am a convert to heel flap, turn and gusset method now. These fit so well!!!

The pattern is for a cowl and an infinity cowl and I would like testers for both.

My cowl (caramel and purple) was knit in acrylic yarn from my stash and my infinity (turquoise and orange) was knit in Winnie’s yarn by but you can choose your own yarn and colours.

The test knit will run until 2nd April 2023.

My by is complete 🥰 I started this back in September but I am not a monogamous knitter and tend to have MANY projects on the go at once. This one is completed in yarn beautifully hand dyed here in Northern Ireland and it is fabulous. A lovely, large shawl which gives a beautiful pop of colour! The last few months have taught me that we need to remember to be grateful for the little things, so a timely finish 💕

My brioche cowl is complete! I attended a super class in January and here is the finished cowl. I love the classes at Hanks, such a lovely atmosphere and always new techniques to learn. Plus looking at walls of yarny goodness with a coffee in hand is my idea of bliss! A lot of temptation too …. This is the CaMaRose Lamauld and as you can see I could get another project from the leftovers

First cast on AND off of 2023! Let’s ignore all the other cast on from 2022 they are on my wip list 😉😂 The Sophie Shawl by just needed made!! And it was definitely worth it!! I will be making more!!

A recently finished test knit for . This is a beautiful pattern, which isn’t completely clear in my yarn choice so I have tried to take close up photos to let you see. This pattern releases today!!! I did the small size and it only took about 40g of DK yarn (mine was 300m / 100g).
