Final Application complete - Whimsical wooden tiki god / puppet could have gone better but I'm hay with how it turned out. Thabsk to for being my model today.

The end is in sight now,... all gearing up ready for test and final applications over the next 2 weeks, few issues with my pieces but still good to apply, just happy with how the textures been captured in my pieces can't wait to see the final look all come together.

Completed sculpts, all flashed ready to insert pilot holes and fibreglass mould next week, the flashing around the flat pieces I used chauvant medium clay, the flashing on the fibreglass cores I used plasticine which is very soft it can damage more easily though so care will have to be taken lovely to work with though!

I think these are my best sculpts I've done so far, I just need to extend the tile so I can finish the flashing. 🤩

I have been texturing my pieces for what feels like forever 😅 I'm now ready to add some flashing, and clean the cores and sculpts up a litle. My upper lip piece is close to the tiles edge so il have to improvise around this so I can still get a nice blending edge. Excited to get theses moulded and run silicone to have a practice applying them 😬😊

This project for university is the first time I've hair punched a prop/silicone and also the first time silicone painting. It's not perfect, but for my first experience doing this, I'm happy.

I've learnt a lot throughout this module, and I'm planning on running my mould again over the summer break and having a practice with what I've learnt hopefully il have a better finish. But hey, practice makes perfect 😊

Final Application- 1960s college girl.

I'm happy with my finished refronted wig but overall application could have been better, my brow block encapsulated bondos had stuck together whilst travelling to uni so I had to try and make them work, something I need to retry again. And also work on my timing to finish everything I wished to do for example apply false eyelashes.

Before deconstructing the wig to attach lace to refront the wig, to the finished asset. 60s college girl flick up. I'm so happy with how this has turned out, I just hope formative application day goes smoothly tomorrow.

Little hair cutting practice before cutting the wig I'm currently working on refronting.

Wig template/ blocking for my hair module for uni, this will be used to refront a wig. The wig will be refronted and styled based on the mid/late 1960s era

I have been back at uni for a week now. The first part of our professional portfolio module is to create a silicone flat mould. I chose to create a reptile forehead prosthetic. This was sculpted with chauvant nasp clay.

I'm looking forward to how it turns out. With more time, I would need to work on the placement/ uniform of the scales.

60s hippie transformation, Beard and moustache postiche Test application. Positive feedback just a subtle change for next week's final application. Overall I'm pleased ☺️

Final application for gelatine nose prosthetic, sculpted, cast and applied by myself, gelatine moles made and hair punched by myself too. Final Ugly sister character concept. Had a few mishaps during application but I feel I've overcome them and happy with the final outcome.
