We are only a 5 a side team... But we love to play football and the idea of suddenly never being able to again, nor see our family or friends is just unthinkable. Today that is the reality for many of the Associação Chapecoense de Futebol team, who perished on their way to Columbia for potentially the match of their careers.

We pay respect to all those who lost their lives in this tragedy.

This past weekend F.C. Bayern Maiden were knocked out on penalties in the 1st round of the Download Football Tournament 2016. We are obviously gutted to have not gone further but proud to have participated for a 2nd year in a row.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

We are absolutely delighted to announce that F.C. Bayern Maiden will be once again entering the Cancer Research UK charity football tournament at Download Festival 2016!

We will be looking to raise as much cash as possible for charity and look forward to having a team represent us once more at the festival in June! Keep a lookout for further details on how to donate and show us your support on Thursday 9th June 2016 if you are at Download!

Some news today. After winning 17 - 2 last week and 7 - 4 yesterday, we now announce that long time squad member Tom Brady will be leaving us as he moves to Canada to begin a new chapter in his life.

Everyone associated with F.C. Bayern Maiden would like to wish him the very best of luck for the future and we hope that he has enjoyed his time at the club!

I feel it's poignant that we will be playing a game of football in Liverpool, on the same day that Justice was finally reached for the 96 who lost their lives 27 Years ago.

I speak for myself and my team mates in saying that we are pleased with today's result and we only hope that the families of those 96 feel that (finally) some closure has been brought to them.

We stand together through everything and always will.
