Chrissie from our team did the Tri Liverpool today, she smashed it getting 5th out of 93 in the Women's Beginner Category. #teamcotswold just did it! Chrissie's choice of shoe was Salomon, choice of watch was Garmin and sunglasses by Bloc so if you want to know how any of these products performed or just to congratulate her on doing so well, pop in to our shop :-)
Keith back in January. This was his report from Aconcagua in Argentina at 6,962 metres. You can see the start of a snow storm as it slowly approaches Camp III Berlin (6,000 metres). Breathing became a little tougher with any walking around, and also with normal talking as you can tell in this video. The temperature at this time was almost at -40 degrees (this is where celcius and fahrenheit meet!)
Keith back in January, with a quick report on an acclimatisation walk up Bonete Peak (5,000 metres). Then, heading back to Base Camp, Plaza de Mulas (4,350 metres) on Aconcagua (6,962 metres).
Keith in Argentina, January this year. The rescue helicopter at the start of Aconcagua National Park. At 3,000 metres, the helicopter can fly up to 5,500 metres. Aconcagua stands at 6,962 metres and is the highest walk in the world. It's also the 2nd highest of the "7 summits", Everest being the highest of course.
