Beltane is one of the eight sabbats on the wheel of the year and is celebrated on May Day. It is a festival of fire and celebrates the return of the sun, fertility, creation, and abundance.

Beltane is around midway between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstace.

You can celebrate Beltane by lighting a bonfire or candles, making a flower crown, decorating your altar or home with flowers, planting seeds, or decorating a may pole.

A Solar Eclipse always falls on a new moon, and as a result, the energy is really potent. This energy is transformative, so try to be flexible and roll with any changes that come your way. This is all happening in the sign of Aries, so embrace the Aries confidence and take on everything thrown into your path. The changes that could happen are always something that your higher self needs in order to grow. The changes are never for the worst, although it may feel like that at the time.

The energy is intense and may feel slightly chaotic and if you don't want to do any rituals, then don't. If you do want to, then go ahead! It's all about you and your practice. Don't let any scaremongering put you off. Whilst the energy IS intense, it's not scary. Nothing astrological happens in a negative way, so don't let fear and anxiety take over during this time.

This is the perfect time to release what no longer serves you and what holds you back. Then manifest what you do want. Just surrender yourself to what's going on and embrace whatever comes. Make the most of this!

If you're in the UK, we will only be able to see a partial solar eclipse at around 7.52pm. Not everyone will see it, though. It will be some parts of Ireland, Scotland, Northern, and Western England. It will, of course, be weather permitting as we have to contend with the wonderful british weather.

If you're in North America, you will see the full total eclipse, and I have to say I'm really jealous!

Mercury Retrograde
April 1st- April 25th 2024

A few days late as I've been on holiday!

The first full Mercury Retrograde of 2024 and it is in Aries which adds a firey energy. This could potentially lead to more drama and arguments. The other Mercury Retrogrades this year will be in all of the fire signs and one in Virgo (earth) so the Mercury Retrogrades this year will be ✨️spicy✨️.

As always Gemini and Virgo sun/moon/risings will be affected along with Aries.

Tarot Spreads 🔮

Here is a little list detailing the tarot spreads you can choose from. There are literally HUNDREDS of spreads, but these are the most popular. If you had something else in mind, you could send me a message, and I can work with you to tailor a spread just for you and your needs!

1 Card Pull: This can be a simple answer to a specific question, some basic advice, self reflection, or just a simple message from your spirit guides. It is easily tailored to your needs.

3 Card Spread: Another one that can be tailored to your needs such as past/present/future, mind/body/spirit, you/them/relationship or it can helpful for decision making aswell.

5 Card Spread: the same as the 3 card spread but with 2 clarification cards such as positive/negatives, advice/potential outcome or obstacle/advice

Celtic Cross: Detailed answer or explanation to a question or situation

6/12 month spread: one card representing each month, the card shows a snapshot or theme of that month.

Imbolc🤍
1st February (Northern Hemisphere)

Imbolc is the second sabbat on the wheel of the year, and it celebrates the midway poont between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox.

Imbolc signifies that winter is coming to an end, and spring is on the way. This makes it a time for hope and renewal.

Do you remember when I said Jan 1st was a bad time to start making changes and New years resolutions? This is because the earth is still hibernating at its the dead of winter, and as humans, we are part of nature and therefore also should be taking it slow. Well, Imbolc is the sign of the earth waking up. So now would be the perfect time to think about your intentions and what you would like to see come into fruition for spring.

Other things you can do to celebrate Imbolc are cleansing your space, baking bread, or having a big spring clean.

Colours: white, red, green, pink

Crystals: bloodstone, red garnet, clear quartz, peridot, ruby

What is Tarot and what does a reading do?

Tarot cards are a divination tool, they are the storybook of our lives and every spiritual lesson we come across will be shown in the cards. We are all connected to a collective, universal wisdom and we connect to Tarot using intuition. When reading for others, we are tapping into this collective wisdom and getting intuitive messages via the cards.

Tarot can be used to seek answers to an array of questions and clarification of situations. They can be used to gain advice and guidance or used as a self reflection tool to look deeper within ourselves and into our subconcious to find the innermost truths of our higher selves.

Tarot isn't about predicting the future, it shows the various paths available to us through manifestation and the choices we make. There are lots of tarot spreads available depending on what it is you're wanting to get out of a reading. I will be sharing the ones I do over the next few days! X
