Meet Marnie Wills, Heading to the Touch World Cup 2024!

We are over the moon to tell you that Marnie Wills, our incredible Founding Director, is going to represent England at the Touch World Cup in Nottingham next week! Though brought up in Australia, Marnie has been a key member of England’s Touch team since 2010 and has brought unmatched skill and determination to the field.

Marnie began her Touch career at just five years old; she is now an experienced player and coach who motivates her teammates by being highly skilled as well as possessing strong determination. Her mantra, "If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you," embodies her approach to sports and life. This will be Marnie's fourth World Cup, and she currently boasts an impressive 88 caps for England. We can't wait to see her in action!

In addition to her athletic achievements and being a mom of 2 children, Marnie is also the founder of SportyMinis, a program dedicated to enhancing children's physical development through Agility, Balance, and Coordination (ABC). SportyMinis' expert-guided lessons inspire children to explore their physical capabilities, fostering teamwork and fundamental movement skills essential for young athletes.

Touch World Cup 2024, which will take place in Nottingham from July 15th until July 21st, promises to be the biggest and most exciting yet, with teams from across the globe competing for glory. England's participation in 13 categories showcases their commitment to excellence and sportsmanship on a global scale.
