Pick your sweet peas ✂️
If you've got sweet peas growing in your garden (and it's our belief that every garden should) then this is your PSA to keep picking them! 🚨 Sweet peas produce more flowers the more you pick them, so it's important that you're deadheading regularly during the height of the growing season - this can be as regularly as every other day. ✂️ If you don't pick the flowers then seed pods develop, and when this happens? Of all the foliage plants out there, the not-so-humble hosta certainly makes a strong claim for being the best! Salvia 'Merleau Rose'

'Ingrid Bergman' Rose 🌹
This rose is serving 💅 fierce 💅 Sadly, the iconic Swedish actress, Ingrid Bergman, had passed away by 1984, and so wasn't around to see the award-winning rose introduced in her honour, but we're certain she would've loved it because, well, who wouldn't?! 😍 With gloriously fragrant, crimson double blooms repeating throughout the summer and well into autumn, this variety is what's known as a 'hybrid tea' rose, meaning that the plant produces distinctive pointed buds and large flowers. Hybrid tea roses are what springs to mind for most people when thinking about roses.
