For the together with our partners we organised event engaging with local Croydon communities highlighting the importance of focusing on HIV awareness and testing because of the high rates of undiagnosed HIV, and high levels of stigma. By conducting a quize we educated our guests about the new prevention technologies, highlighted the importance of HIV testing & STI Screening. We were lucky to have highly motivational guest speakers. One of them was Rebecca Mbewe, co-authors of the Book “Our stories told by us”. This book is about the UK HIV epidemic and reflects on the HIV experience of African communities through individual stories. The event inspired all attendees to contune the fight against HIV.

On Saturday, November 25th AHF UK team joined other organizations for the 2023 at Victoria Park in London. It was a great activity and fundraising event!

European Testing Week kicked off today and will conclude on , December 1st! 🎉

🔹 Wednesday, November 22nd📍 Free HIV and STI testing at CSC George ST, from 5pm-7pm

🔹 Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th 📍 AHF will be testing at Croydon University Hospital (located at 530 London Road, London, Surrey, CR7 7YE) with partners KwaAfrica and NHS Croydon

🔹 Saturday, November 25th 📍 AHF will be joining other HIV organizations for the 2023 at Victoria Park in London! This is a fundraising event and no testing will be done.
