🏁 The Croft round of 116 Trophy allowed us to showcase the arrive and drive car’s potential in the series with two drivers completely new to 116T and conflicting work commitments going in ‘blind’ without any testing. Despite this the qualifying lap time sat 15th in the ultra competitive field.

Some minor setup tweaks improved competitiveness in the race of mixed conditions. A late safety car and heavy downpour saw the Fly Motorsport car matching (and sometimes beating) the race leader’s pace, around 2-3secs faster than the cars running around us gaining from P20 - P5 in the final 20 minutes.

The final result was 5th overall, not only the highest place two-driver team but also the highest placed Arrive and Drive finisher.

It was great to turn some laps today at Brands Hatch as we start preparing for the 2023 Gaz Shocks 116 Trophy season with 750 Motor Club.

Three drivers took to the track today and had some great feedback, despite the conditions upon checking the laptop afterwards the pace was very competitive too 🏁
