Friday Scholarships Special: JCU

This week we’re highlighting the new International Excellence Scholarship at James Cook University (JCU) in Northern Queensland. The JCU IES offer high-achieving students from the UK, Europe, the US, Canada and Latin America a 25% fee reduction for the duration of their studies.

JCU automatically assess for the IES when they assess new applications from eligible students – there’s no separate application process for this scheme and successful students will receive a letter of offer for both their chosen degree and the scholarship at the same time. There are a couple of degrees that are NOT eligible for the IES though, including medicine, dentistry, veterinary science and physiotherapy.

To find out whether you’re eligible for a place at JCU and to apply for this scholarship contact Study Options (DM us here or drop us a line through link in bio). We are a free advice and application service for students and are JCU’s official representative in the UK and Europe. To find out more about studying at JCU, please see link in bio.

Not long now until A-level results day...

It's been a strange year A-levellers, we know! Here's hoping that everyone gets the results they want on Thursday, but if you're still not sure about going to a UK university in September, don’t panic. There’s another option to consider.

There’s still time to apply for a university in Australia or New Zealand for the next academic intake, which is in February!

If you're not sure about a full degree abroad at this time, then there are also plenty of short term options for those on a gap year.
