“Yesterday was the Centurion NDW50. My first trail race since coming back from injury 3 months ago.

Very pleased to take 9th overall in 7h21’.

I had planned to cross the line a little earlier but I repeatedly lost time on uphills sections. I could feel my calves were not yet ready for such distance / elevation.

The course was beautiful with lots of single track and we were lucky to have ideal weather conditions the whole day. The course record was broken by 2’ and several runners ran sub 7h. Well done to them 💪
