Performing his first ever show in the UK, Fabiano do Nascimento is one of the most exciting guitarists working at the moment brining his retro-futuristic brazilian music to the ICA with his blend of Brazilian classical and jazz music. Harpist and beat maker Marysia Osu will open.

Warp-signed Scottish-born, Copenhagen-based producer, composer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Clarissa Connelly is an experimental folk artist who looks to century-spanning references from 20th-century French philosophers to the poetry of William Blake.

We’ve added our major headline show ‘Take Me to the River’ which celebrates New Orleans Music with an all-star line-up featuring Cyril Neville, Omari Neville Jon Cleary & more.

Celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of one of the most influential and widely recorded modern percussionists, Max Roach.
See trumpeter Charles Tolliver - who performed alongside Roach early in his career - as he joins together with Darrell Green on drums, Camille Thurman on tenor saxophone and an all star UK big band led by Tony Kofi at the Barbican on 18 November.
Charles Tolliver celebrates Max Roach @ 100 Max Roach unarguably sits at the throne of drum Percussionists. A quintessential member of the Artform ushered in by Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Powell, Thelonious Monk, and Kenny Clark, his inimitable style and innovations paved the way for generations of drummers well into the future.
