Some of our Juniors getting promotions and badges over the last 4 weeks.
This evening the cadets competed in the Annual Unit Masterchef Competition. We had the pleasure of getting to try a Chicken curry with potato's & rice, fried chicken & salsa, carrot cake cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, choc chip cupcakes and French toast. All the cadets done really good. Winner to be announced on our Awards Night in December.
After a boating session we had a few awards to hand out. Jsc Xavi and Jsc 1st Jayden both getting their Green module badges. Cadets Hailey and Paul both being ranked up to Cdt 1st class. OC Keira becoming an Able Cadet. Well done to all.
Yesterday we had the opportunity to join Cheshunt, Enfield and City of London Sea Cadets on the Annual Junior cadet monopoly challenge Cheshunt do. The cadets had fun navigating the London tube and visiting different landmarks while learning and completing yellow modules. Many thanks to Cheshunt Sea Cadets for inviting us. Great weather for it too.
This evening, a couple of our Juniors JSC A Sam and JSC A Wright received their Green module badge from their hard work at the weekend. JSC A Sam also received her Red Module too. We'll done to both. More badges to be awarded in the coming weeks.
This weekend, our Juniors attended a Unit weekend where they completed many green modules earning the badges (certificates and badges will be presented friday). They leaned all about open fire cooking, how to pack a kit, putting up tents, and so much more. I send a huge thank you to the staff who helped with the weekend and Dave.

As you all may have seen last week, Leading Cadet Ashleigh celebrated her 18th Birthday, we asked her to come back this evening and she was presented with a little memento of her time at Clapton and Hackney Sea Cadets.
As you can see, she gained a huge amount of qualifications, which is testament to all her hard work!
A huge happy 18th Birthday to LC Ashleigh! We all hope you have a fantastic day, you have been a wonderful cadet and a great role model for the other cadets in the unit. Keep working hard and remember, you can do absolutely anything that you set your mind to.
From Ma’am and everyone at Clapton and Hackney Sea Cadets 🎂
Merry Christmas to all our Cadets, Adult Volunteers and Supporters! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year! From all at TS Bulwark! 🥰
Don’t forget, if your New Year’s resolution is to do more volunteering work… send me a message and I’ll get in touch!
There’s no experience needed, all we need are people that want to help the community of Hackney!
Tonight was our end of year presentation evening. Thanks to London Northern District Sea Cadets District Officer for coming down and presenting our awards. We wish you all a very happy Christmas - See you all in the new year!
To all our supporters, could you please take a moment to nominate us to receive £1000 - the more people that nominate us, the more chances we’ll have of being successful!
It literally takes about a minute to do, but the impact will be huge if we are awarded the money!
Please put Clapton and Hackney sea cadets as the charity name and we should come up.
