Design Essence - Regent’s Place The design, inspired by bundles of kindling, balances organic forms with precise construction. The purposeful spiralling of the laths, overlapping in contrary directions on different layers, gives the structures a robustness, yet preserves an air of spontaneity. This illusion of randomness is further accentuated by the intentional variations in the lengths of the laths. A diagrammatic Study: Times Eureka Pavilion. The design development of the pavilion focused on the ‘bio-mimicry’ of leaf cellular structures being embedded in the walls. Primary timber capillaries form the basic shape and supporting structure of the pavilion, inset with secondary timber cassettes that in turn hold bioplastic infill cladding. The final structure was designed using computer algorithms that mimic natural growth and is intended to allow visitors to experience the patterns of biological structure at an unfamiliar scale.

Nex% Fluid Workspace
As we begin to return to offices in the UK, it brings to mind the 'Fluid Workspace' we designed for the excellent Marcus Barnett Studio.
