Routes into Journalism
UCAS and the BBC recently made a film which looks into the different ways into a career as a journalist – school leaver entry, the traditional graduate route and higher-level apprenticeships.
The video is now showing on the UCAS site and features Levi Jouavel (former journalism apprentice and on the presenter line-up for BBC Three News The Catch-Up), Alex Taylor, who joined BBC News following his degree and current Journalism Advanced Apprentice Ella Hambly. BBC Editorial Portfolio Manager Daniell Morrisey talks about getting into the industry and apprenticeships.
