This week, we teamed up with some fantastic companies to promote employee wellness during Mental Health Awareness Week. Together, we’re delivering approximately 1200 hours of movement activities in May. This year’s theme, ‘Movement: Moving more for our Mental Health,’ highlights the transformative power of daily movement on our mindset and overall well-being. We led stretching sessions and provided coaching to teams throughout the month, anticipating positive ripple effects in the coming weeks.
As Mental Health Awareness Week continues, here are two simple actions you can take:
1. Opt for a walking meeting, especially for phone calls. Lace up your sneakers and take your call while on the move. You’ll find that ideas flow more freely, and your energy levels increase.
2. Dedicate just 5 minutes a day to movement on a mat, whether it’s stretching in the morning or before bed. Keep track of any changes in your mood and productivity over the course of five days. 🧘♂️
