Please be advised that for a car to be classified as a pool car the below MUST be met a;

- Mileage records/logbooks to show that vehicles have indeed been operated by different employees. (A MUST)
- Business Insurance documents that show more than one employee is permitted to operate the vehicles (A MUST)
- Sign in/out sheets to verify where the vehicles are kept overnight (A MUST)
- An employee contract stating that staff employed for driving positions will have vehicles provided to them by the business (A MUST)
- A staff handbook or driving policy statement that sets out how vehicles are treated within the business and the driving authorisation process. (Optional)

There is no flexibility here! The proof is on you the taxpayer to proof to the HMRC the cars are pool cars.

Any one that operates POOL CARS,MUST implement the above as soon as possible before any potential HMRC PAYE enquiry.
