Looking at ranking of each individual component of the hyrox, I’ve circled in red the stations where I got pretty behind in the overall ranking.
Here I can find the Sky Erg, Rowing, Sled Pull and Wall Balls whose I’ve trained the least or neglected before the race. I did this mainly because I had no access to the equipment required
Orange circles are the ones that I’ve trained at least once a week on most of the weeks since April using equipment similar to the one used in the race.
With the green I’ve circled the stations where I got into the top10 and with no surprise these are the performance stats and the Farmers Carry
For context this year I ran so far 3300+ kilometres and I have completed London marathon in 2h45’ 5 weeks before the ,
and I trained the Farmers Carry by rushing up and down Bateman’s Row, in the middle of at busy lunch times, carrying 2x32 kg Dumbbells, dodging oncoming cars and vans
Easy guess that in order to improve on my next race I’ve to train the red circles as priority, then probably run less and do more strength work, if I want to have a chance to qualify for the world championships in Manchester in May
