A real fun few days on the Disney Dream. What a glorious theatre and super fun crowds. See ya real soon!
Practising my new flying effect on stage at the Opera House in the Kennedy Centre. I can now fly for 1.2 seconds.
What a week it was at The Kennedy Centre. 8 sold out shows mean just under 20,000 of you saw us in The Illusionists. What a fantastic cast and crew it was to work with during the most joyous week of fun.
Well isn’t this lovely. For THE ILLUSIONISTS Kennedy Center For Performing Arts
Mind-boggling ‘Illusionists’ leaves young and old agog at Kennedy Center Among the surprises: It's howlingly hilarious and inventively kid-friendly.
What an amazing opening night at Kennedy Center For Performing Arts here in DC. A sold out show and two standing ovations from an amazing crowd.
I’ll be back raising the eyebrow and reading some minds at the at the end of April in . Will you be there? Will the president be there? Will I find a Trader Joes nearby? All important questions.
What a joyus show for 4500 with some wonderful humans in California. Crazy that my job means travelling 7500 miles to read minds for a show then going back home! A wonderful line up with amazing friends. Special shout out to our amazing crew and director Jenn who we truly couldn’t do this without. Can’t wait to do it all again in DC this spring. THE ILLUSIONISTS The Venue at Thunder Valley
Broadway, London’s West End, Sydney Opera House and now (checks notes) Lincoln, CA at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. Feb 2. Quite the line up for this one. It’s going to be a good show.

Always a total pleasure to blow minds for a living.
Tour. Williams Center at Cape Fear, Wilmington NC. Galliard Auditorium, Charleston, SC. Walt Disney Theatre at the Dr Philips Centre, Orlando, FL
A week on the tour bus visiting these lovely places. Full houses full of delighted audiences full of holiday cheer.
Wilmington was a beautiful old town with a fantastic river walk, Charleston steeped in history like a small NOLA and Orlando was, well. Orlando. I managed to see friends and get in a quick visit to Disney Springs. I also got to play my third Walt Disney Theatre.
Tour. Boston MA. Emerson Colonial Theatre
Three days and four shows in Boston in this beautiful and historic theatre. La Cage Aux Follies and Moulin Rouge premiered there. Neil Simon did most of his work there. And now I’ve read minds there.
Penn & Teller were in town doing their show down the road so I got to spend the afternoon catching up with Penn which is always a delight.
Tour. Williamsport PA, New Brunswick NJ, Newark NJ
A few hops down the east coast for some magical fun. Extra delighted as I go
Tour. Toronto / Niagara Falls
A final few shows in Toronto where we continued to eat great food before hopping on to the tour bus and heading to our next stop.
But first we had a 5am break at Niagara Falls, and boy was it worth waking up for.
Tour. Toronto. Princess Of Wales Theatre
Big fan of Toronto. A great city full of wonderful food and secret underground walkways to stay warm.
The shows have been so much fun here, always full with audiences who are really into it. It’s been a treat.
At the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto through Sunday! ✨🎭

Tour. Chicago, Cadillac Palace Theatre.
A mighty fine week in Chicago including a bonus day off for Thanksgiving.
We were met with full houses of audience members who gave us wonderful responses. I particular enjoyed getting some big roars of approval at the end of my control routine.

Tour Day 5. Day Off. Chicago
After a manic day in NYC it was lovely to have a slightly more relaxed day in Chicago. Albeit one with tooth pain still. But I did get to run through Chicago airport with the Home Alone music playing g
I had a nice morning walking round and visiting Trader Joes. Then a fun night as the guests of the wonderful at the Chicago institution which is
What a fun show it is! They built a spiegeltent on the 14th floor of a building and create a wonderful dinner show complete with a dance for each course. A wonderful mix of circus, variety and magic followed with splendid company.
Tour Day 4. Day Off. New York
A day off meant a whistle stop 24 hours in New York.
I got to spend time at the home of Mario the Maker Magician and his amazing family. I saw his show at a magic convention earlier this year and fell in love with it. I produced it with them at the Edinburgh Fringe this year and am now co-producing their run SoHo Playhouse
It is the greatest family magic show ever. Full of amazing magic, love, heart, joy, chaos and ROBOTS! It was so amazing to see all ages have the best time. I genuinely think every kid who sees the show will grow up to be a better human. And every adult will leave it trying to make the world a better place. He runs till the end of December and you simply must try see it.
Next stop. Chicago.
Tour Day 3. Omaha, Nebraska. THE ILLUSIONISTS
I remember playing this theatre a few days before the tour was called off due to Covid in 2020. That show had an air of impending doom so it was lovely to play it with an air of holiday joy.
A truly manic audience and me on painkillers made for a fun show. Crazy nonsense such as the curtain falling on-top of my props and two local crew just bringing another prop on to the middle of the stage midway through my act made it all the more crazy.
Tour Day 2 THE ILLUSIONISTS. Cedar Rapids, lowa.
A sleepless night with toothache lead to a long 4 hour bus trip to the Paramount theatre and then ann emergency dentist. Now on antibiotics and painkillers hoping that they can put off needing a root canal.
I did the show very tired and in pain; hoping stage Chris would show up when I got in front of an audience. Luckily he did and we had a really fun show which at least for a short time helped me forget the pain.
Magic Of The Holidays. Tour Day 1. Sioux City, lowa.
Lovely autumnal days greeted us in Sioux City where we teche'ed and opened the show. Our amazing team got everything ready in 4 days.
Always feels a bit weird doing festive stuff early November but the audience quickly got into the Christmas spirit. THE ILLUSIONISTS
Tomorrow night we start our North American Tour of THE ILLUSIONISTS Magic Of The Holidays.
Getting ready for Halloween! 🎃 What's your preference: (Magic) Tricks or Treats?🪄🍭
