Attitude is Everything
We connect disabled people with music and live event industries to improve access together.
Attitude is Everything supports the music industry to make live music events more accessible. Having begun as a pilot project in 2000, we are now a fully independent charity and part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio of Organisations. We encourage events producers to go beyond legal obligations set out in The Equality Act and implement Best Practice, providing a fair and equal service to their Deaf and disabled customers.
Join us this September for a talk and Q&A with Isobel Williams, Founder of , an independent music PR company that has launched this year. With Laydown PR, Isobel intends to build an inclusive business creating more opportunities for disabled and neurodivergent artists.
📆 Tuesday 24th September, 4.30 - 6pm
Some topics that will be explored:
-Navigating a career in the music industry with a chronic illness
-How self acceptance can aid your career and help combat imposters syndrome
-Everything you need to know about Laydown PR
-How to promote your music career without a publicist and where to allocate your energy (when you don’t have much energy!)
