I really enjoying working in Spaghetti House Kensington and I can say that I was lucky to find a good, warm and welcoming team, basically my second family as I spend most of my time with them in the restaurant.
My goal is to achieve a higher position in the future and keep having fun and enjoy day by day working here.ā
Meet our Westfield manager, Roberto!
āHello, my name is Roberto, and Iāve been a part of the Spaghetti House family for eight years. I am deeply grateful to the company and its founders for welcoming me into their business. Our journey together is a long-standing love story. At one point, I considered moving to another country, but when I changed my mind, they embraced me with open arms, just like a family does.
I had heard about the company before joining them for the famous Italian film Spaghetti House. My connection with Spaghetti House is so strong that I even decided to get a tattoo of it.
My goal is to write a book about my experiences one day. Stay tuned for updates.ā

Here at Spaghetti House we are like one large Italian Family and guests can feel that way too.ā

Meet the manager: Egle has been with us at Spaghetti House for over a decade now.
āFrom starting my career at Spaghetti House in 2012 as a Barista, I aspired to reach my goal of becoming a General Manager.āÆWithin those 11 years, my journey has seen me assume numerous jobs such as a Barista, Waitress, Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Duty Restaurant Manager. Now I have finally climbed to become a General Manager! It feels great to achieve my ultimate goal.
I love working with people so my job of managing a team is ideal. I also have huge admiration that this is a family based business.āÆ Despite growing and growing, Spaghetti House never loses its sense of family and the culture is great.ā

Part of our history: a snippet from a newspaper in 1975 of the siege that happened in our Knightsbridge restaurant.
It happened from the 28th September to the 3rd October. 6 hostages were taken. Thankfully, no-one was harmed.
Meet the manager: This is Francesco. He comes from Brescia, situated in the north of Italy, in the fantastic region of Lombardy, where the historical events of its provinces and the diversity of its territories resulted in a varied culinary tradition.
āI decided to move to London 11 years ago to pursue a career in Hospitality. Since then, I have been working for Spaghetti House, realising from the very beginning that I joined not a company, but a Family business. Iāve had the honour of meeting all the members of the family and in particular Mr Simone Lavarini, the man who created the company in the late 1955.
The Hospitality industry allows me to connect with people from diverse background, learn their stories and make a difference in their day.
What I love about Spaghetti house is the fact that after nearly 70 years their mission is still the same as day one: no faux-Italian. Just honest food, prepared by people who care.
If you want to pop in Cranbourn Street for a nice pasta or pizza, or if you just want to have a refreshing Aperol Spritz sitting in our lovely outside area, we will be waiting for you promising a wonderful experience.ā

Our Story:
A little reminder as to why you fell in love with Italian food.
š·About our family business
āMy father, Simone, opened our first restaurant back in 1955, with his friend Lorenzo, in London's Goodge Street. Their idea was to introduce people to the fresh, simple Italian food that the two of them had loved back home.
They were hugely successful, as Londoners too fell in love with the fresh food and welcoming ambience of a traditional Italian restaurant.
Today, that simple recipe remains as popular as ever and our family is proud to now have 10 local restaurants, across Central London, all sharing the same values that my father believed in over 65 years ago.ā
