(TW) Hey everyone,

I haven’t done a post for a while, so much has been going on so I’ve had to put my own mental health first before focusing on TLT.

A few of you may know I was signed off from my full time job due to things getting a bit too much again. So I just want to remind you to check in with yourself.

I’ll be honest, I convinced myself I was okay for too long so then things built up and I ended up making myself so ill. So I’m not going to sit here and say I’m perfect and know what I’m doing all the time. I don’t. We all make mistakes.

So, an update for anyone who would like to know:
- I’ve got a new job which i start this month and I’m so excited for!
- I began another new venture : - I love helping people, I always have. And this just feels so right for me✨
- Me & my boyfriend moved into our new home!!! 🏡

So, as you can tell its been a lot of adjusting so I haven’t had the inspiration or time to even post on here. I plan to change that now💙

I hope you are well and as always my DM’s are open to you all. Hoping this year is a better one for us all 🤞🏻✨

The main thing I want to say today is be kind. Because the exterior doesn’t always reflect the interior.

Look after yourself today and always.

Do what’s best for you, regardless of what others think.

Your brain matters so much and you shouldn’t have to down play your emotions for anyone.

Make your mental health a priority everyday, not just today.

A bit of a different post from me today.

For anyone else who feels like they’re living the same day everyday at the minute - please know it’s okay to feel frustrated and sad.

The world still feels like it’s at a standstill in many aspects, such as travel, socialising, living how we used to etc.

The more the “freedom days” keep getting pushed back, the more it takes it’s toll on people’s mental health.

Please be aware that everyone around you are dealing with their emotions differently, and just because someone puts on a brave face, it does not mean they’re ok.

People can struggle no matter what shape or size they are.

So many people invalidate other individuals experiences because they don’t look like they’re struggling.

Don’t be that person.

You can’t tell what anyone has been through just by simply looking at them.

TW 🤍 Mental health awareness week 2021.

Something that I personally have been really struggling with recently is my depression.

I have been struggling with this ever since I was about the age of 8 and I still become so overwhelmed when it feels like it’s getting the better of me. No amount of previous experience will prepare you for the heaviness of a depression episode.

The things people don’t normally mention about depression is the numbness, how alone you feel, the physical pain, etc. I could go on for days.

Some days it really does feel as though you’re drowning and everyone around you looks at you like wtf? This is because the way you feel is invisible, no one can see how truly low you feel.

My point of this post is to show how up and down it can be, how steady it can be, how numbing it can be. There is no “normality” to depression.

That’s sometimes the most daunting thing about it, that you never know what day you’re going to have. It’s unpredictable.

Please check in on yourself, and how your mental state is.

Mental health awareness week is for YOU and your well-being.

And remember - just because you have a low day does not mean you won’t ever experience a high one again 💙
