Now we're heading into the colder months, we wanted to share one of our scarf customers St. Piece London, how beautiful are these designs.

These are some 100% Silk Ties that we have recently printed and manufactured for Joseph Turner Yorkshire using our mid- weight Silk Twill.

Summer has finally arrived ☀ so we thought we'd show you some of of lovely woven fabrics. These have been woven using our Ivory Warp adding in the silk coloured weft. We think these colours would make lovely ties for a summer event.

Our Household department can make up a large array of items. If you are looking for something in particular, please contact us and we'll be happy to provide you with more information.

Did you know we can colour match for you? We can match to either a Pantone reference or something physical.
You can see here, we have matched a Pantone Blue for a bespoke tie.
For a different customer we have also matched silk threads from our weave department, to ensure the woven tie match the printed pockets.

Last week our very own Gemma McCarthy was invited to the UK House of Lords to accept her from The Printing Charity. 🌟

The Rising Star Awards highlight the importance of supporting and developing young talent within the print industry.

Gemma joined the charity at the event to celebrate her achievements and those of the other successful winners. Each recipient of the award receives a grant of up to £1,500 to invest in career development and grow their futures in print.

Gemma will be using her grant to complete the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership.

We don't just offer a printing service. We also have four jacquard looms where we can weave your designs in silk.

We're really loving all of the bright and vibrant designs we're seeing at the moment. This summery design has been printed onto one of our eco cotton bases.

We've had a busy couple of weeks getting prints ready for this weekend, how fun this this coronation design, printed on one of our linen bases 🇬🇧👑

We've invested in Solar Energy ☀️

Our new solar panels have now been installed and are fully operational, meaning we're now avoiding up to 88,723kg of CO² emissions per year!

In total we've installed 473 panels across two of our factories, with each panel generating 500 watts of power. That's 236.5 kWp over both of our buildings!

At R A Smart we're committed to reducing our carbon footprint and doing what we can to create a more sustainable future 🌱
