His singing voice is calm and effortless with some real punch when he wants you to feel it, and it compliments his songwriting style perfectly. He has recently recorded a new album which is waiting to be released but you can find his back catalog on Spotify, including his incredible EP titled Pictures.

James Munro Music telling it like it is, sorry Spain. Catch up with us tomorrow, hear all about him, his music, and listen to his AWESOME song he recorded with me titled "Elvis Lives"
My guest this week: James Munro
James Munro Music
James is a guitarist, singer and song writer who cut his teeth gigging in filthy metal bands across the North of the UK before settling in to the acoustic guitar.
His music style is influenced from the likes of Bob Dylan and the Beatles, and his Silky smooth and passionate vocals are a real joy to listen to. He's also a wicked guy and we had a great chat, possibly my favourite yet.
Catch up with us this Saturday 9th!
1 minute song: Hypocrite
SO fun making this video, and the pop punk style of the song is inspired from my early Blink 182 days if you couldn't guess. If you enjoyed it PLEASE SHARE and follow, and you'll forever hold a warm place in my pants.
The lyrics are inspired around the hypocrisy of cannabis laws in the UK. Now before you jump on my back let me point out I AM NOT SAYING CANNABIS IS SAFE but neither is alcohol or to***co and they're both legal.
The latest figures estimate alcohol costs the NHS around £3.5 billion each year and causes close to 7,500 deaths. Smoking to***co costs the government 12.6bn a year and causes 78,000 deaths. From 1993 to 2019 the UK government have credited cannabis with just 445 deaths.
The numbers around introducing a legal cannabis market to the UK are sketchy as its only a best guess, but its estimated it would earn the Treasury between £1bn and £6bn a year in tax revenues. Not to mention all the money that would be saved policing it every year.
Currently that money goes to organised crime, as the demand for cannabis will always be there and they're happy to supply it. Why wouldn't we legalise it and tax it to stop the money funding crime? Instead we could use it to fund our NHS, education, police, fire, ambulance, and social services, all in desperate need.
Also, the UK is already the largest manufacturer of medical cannabis in the world, but they won't allow people in this country to use it. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Prohibition always fails. While prohibition exists organised crime will continue to profit, and good people will be looked at as criminals. These people are your sons, daughters, bothers, sisters, friends, coworkers, shop keepers, waiters, musicians, cleaners, builders, accountants, tradesmen, teachers, carers, doctors, mechanics, personal trainers, and everything else.
I am not a criminal, and neither are some of the most important people in your life. If you've read this far and agree, please share.

1 minute song: Sexy Girl
That's right, I wish I was a sexy girl so I could quit my bulls**t job and get paid to show my 🌷 (Friends reference). Not sure where this idea came from other than wanting a new job.
What should my next 1 minute song be about? Give me your suggestions and your song could be next!

1 Minute Song - Dusty Diamond.
I've had a new idea, it takes me way too long to write a full song, so instead I'm going to write a bunch of fun 1 min songs and do a load of videos for them too. This one is about Dustin Poirier knocking out Conner McGregor.
If you have any ideas you want turning into 1 min songs let me know!!! Also, it turns out I can play drums, guitar, sing, and harmonize all at the same time!!!
Also also, It was good fun trying to figure out how to make this video, but now I have a better idea I will try and be a bit more expressive
