From this little Dragonfly greetings card l have got my first commission from a lady in Chester. Heather had a dragonfly land on her last year at the RHS show @rhstatton_showteam

It has taken a month to upsize and repaint a new design from the original, but well worth all the effort. Today Heather picked up her massive A1 Dragonfly print which she’s going to frame for her hall way. 👩🏻‍🎨😁

Here’s my watercolour-based art competition entry for Women for Women to help shine a spotlight on the wonderful women working to build a more equal and peaceful world.

Dragonflies symbolise self-realisation and transformation. The women survivors of war who are supported through Women for Women’s programme undergo a process of transformation and self-realisation as they grow into more confident, independent changemakers learning invaluable skills to support themselves and their families.

All this is made possible with the support of Women for Women’s sisterhood across the world. Thank you! 🙏🏼🌎
