A little clip of one of the new store horses on the yard.
This beautiful lady is just starting her career and is progressing and learning very well.
Cantering away lovely and gaining experience and fitness across both the grass hill and all weather cantering ring.
Sheβs out of βWhat Lies Aheadβ a winner of a bumper, on the flat and also over hurdles.
Sheβs by the popular βShantouβ
Her full brother is βAhead Of The Posseβ
We are really excited for her future. We sourced her for a great bunch of owners who have added to their string for the winter.
Exciting times ahead.
We have a number of new store horses on the yard available for a variety of ownership options π

The beautiful 2 year old filly by Geordieland out of Not Now Nellie.
Full sister to River Tyne who won her Irish point to point at the 1st time of asking.
We broke this filly in and had her cantering away before a summer at grass.
We are very excited to be working with her in the near future.
Exciting prospect ahead.
Thanks to Bart her great owner.

Itβs been a very busy period over the festive break.
We have lots of runners due over the next few weeks π
This morning is a beautiful winters morning and here we have Coolewell leading the string ridden by Lizzie, Imperial Lord in behind ridden by Sam and Rob Royal bringing up the rear ridden by Fergus.
Itβs also a huge week this week for Lizzie, she successfully completed her amateur licence at the northern racing college doncaster and will ride Snap Chap on Sunday at Southwell Racecourse - Lizzie is a fantastic person to have on the yard and we are lucky to have her. Fingers crossed for a successful first spin for Lizzie.
This week runners are:

As autumn π is well underway, and the ground starts to soften, we have been able to allow some of the winter horses π an opportunity to have a leg 𦡠stretch on the grass π±
We often utilise the deep sand for routine cantering, before heading to the grass for longer, sharper work.
Itβs an exciting time of year βοΈ

This week we welcomed a fabulous bunch of new owners to the yard.
As you can see, they are embracing their first encounter with the horse we sourced for them.
βGetaladyβ showed lots of quality when winning a 14 runner Irish point to point last season, and is already working very well at home for a successful winter campaign.
She starts her season all being well at aintree in a few weeks time.
We wish her and her lovely owners lots of success.
If you would like to know more about getting involved please do not hesitate to contact us.

The wonderful and ever reliable Chapati π« given a confident front running ride by Fergus Gregory at the sunny and hospitable Stratford Racecourse
Chapati goes in - leading from the front. Never seeing a rival.
Heβs a super horse horse and we have a super team.
He was also the pick of the paddock winning best turned out.
Well done to Gema and Lizzie and the team.
He sure deserves a day at grass tomorrow.
