Art fusions
Iβm an adventurer in a sense that I like to experiment working with a variety of materials. In the past, I worked with fabrics, reusing and recycling ties to create one-of-a-kind products such as bags, skirts and wallets.
Following this project I created a few lampshades using polypropylene (translucent). For this, I used existing lampshade nets and personalized it with my hand drawings creating one-of-a-kind products. More recently I designed a few versions of window shades/stickers with designs that I created using a fusion of visual elements according to the intended scenario (room) they are destined to be.
The main material Iβve been using over the past 2 years is polymer clay. I truly enjoy the potentialities this material enables me to explore. Iβve been designing and creating mainly bespoke pieces. I make small day-to-day objects of use as well as ornaments, decorative pieces and also a bit of jewelry (pendants, earrings and brooches).
Even though I have a background in Design, my pieces are on the edge between Art and Design. At the moment, I consider myself as an artisan with Design and Art as a background which makes me more aware about issues such as functionality and aesthetics. For this reason, my products are generally one-of-a-kind as it's almost impossible to reproduce the same piece twice (even if I wanted to) and also because the final result is always subject to the unpredictable baking process.
