The Greenery Cafe

NO MORE PUZZLE DONATIONS REQUIRED THANK YOU π
Further to our recent post regarding currently being unable to accept any more kind book donations (as our shelves are so full), we have now received a number of puzzles.
As these are quite bulky items unfortunately we don't have the space to accommodate these, or store them at the surgery.
Therefore, we have had to make the decision to cease accepting further puzzle donations. For this reason once the puzzles on shelves have found new homes, we will not be looking to re-stock.
Thank you again for all the kind book and puzzle donations and we will be sure to let everyone know when we are in need of more books.
Many thanks.
Our Knit and Natter ladies are getting in the mood for "love" π©΅β€οΈπ©·

Our Knit and Natter ladies have been very busy over the last few months and have raised a fantastic amount of money for two very worthy causes.
Heading into autumn they made pumpkins for the KSS Air Ambulance, a recent final count revealed they had made Β£463.09. A really great achievement.
And more recently have been knitting poppies for The Royal British Legion to support our very deserving armed forces. In total they raised Β£322.78.
Thankyou to all our very kind patients who donated and supported our ladies
Keep an eye out for Christmas treats next. π
A big thank you to Pauline & Alex from our Knit & Natter Group who provided the Remembrance displays for us.
βThey shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.β
Games Club resumes Monday 16th October 2023 between 10-12pm at our Heath Road site, Linton. All proceeds will be donated to charity.
So why not, pop in to see Jill to make a purchase before they all go. Maybe grab a cuppa whilst you are there too, whether you wish to sit for a while or it take it away.
Many thanks.π
Please note both surgeries and the cafe will be closed from 1pm for Protected Learning Time this Thursday. Normal surgery hours resume the following morning.
Please see below for details of all future PLT afternoon during 2023: β
Tuesday 17th October
Wednesday 8th November
We do understand an afternoon closure can be an inconvenience to some patients, but please remember this protected time is invaluable for busy GP surgeries. It gives all staff, clinical and non-clinical, time to undertake formal mandatory training which can not be completed in normal surgery hours.
Thank you for your support.
