Customer wasn’t sure if it was the right fabric to order for her room but she was so over the moon when I made the curtains and she love them

The customer wanted two pleats and a contrasting border. This was an enjoyable challenge and I am happy with the result. Looking forward to sending these, very soon, to the customer. 😍

After making up curtains the customer could not decide whether to have buttons on her curtains and if so whether to have them made up in a fabric used to make her Roman Blind or made up in the curtain fabric. I have given her a photo of each to help her decide.

We recently got the chance to return to take photos of this lovely room. The curtains are in a gorgeous embroidered linen with contrast button detail. Coordinating cushions too complete the look. A curved bay which needed a track bent & fitted specially on site.

I have not made a pinch pleat valance for ages and have missed making them ❤️

Those lovely poles called Romantica were fitted yesterday with these pretty Delft blue curtains using Chatsworth fabric. We even updated the room with new lampshades to match in a blue faux silk from James Hare called Astor.
Really looking forward to seeing the finished effect when its been decorated.
Even the fitter commented on the quality of the poles & their fixings, so I'm very happy with my new purchase!

This was for a lovely family who needed curtains, roman blinds, cushions and pelmets for their beautiful home. All blinds were compliant with the British safety standards even though some were on wooden battens.
We especially loved the contrast border on the pelmet to match the roman blind and designed to co-ordinate with the customers' chosen wallpaper.
The trims on the other blinds were chosen to match with the furnishings too.

A glimpse of work we've been up to recently... this Chatsworth Pluto fabric drapes beautifully, so we combined it with a soft drape lining by Evans Textiles which helped it move beautifully.

Another delightful job to work on, for lovely people - we had such fun finding the right fabric for this one! Lots of opportunity to "stroke fabric"!! Prestigious Textiles to the rescue with this Flower design from their Eden collection.

Phew! It was hot last week during the heatwave, too hot when we were working! We have lots to do. Annie and I had a 'fab' lolly which cooled us down.

Another week, another Apex window! Thanks to Richard for fitting the battens and the curtains. This one had an interesting straight bit at the top. Think I might have the maths sussed for these by now! Just need to return with tie backs instead of hold backs...
