“I first came across Cheryl when my son was having major bladder incontinence issues. Other medical professionals we had been dealing with had basically told me there was nothing else they could do to help and I was completely at my wit's end.
"That first phone call felt like someone was finally listening to me and understood what my son was going through, and more importantly, she knew she could help us. For the first time, we felt like we were not alone."

Did you know 1.5 million children in the UK live with a bowel or bladder condition?
Here are 5 ways to help your child have a healthy bladder...
1. Give them plenty of fluids - a minimum of 6-8 drinks every day.
2. Don't limit their drinks to help them stay dry - it doesn't work! The bladder needs to be properly filled and emptied to behave normally.
3. Let them choose a water bottle for school and get them to practice using it.
4. Praise them when they come home with an empty water bottle or tell you they refilled it during the school day.
5. Check for constipation - 1 in 3 children struggle with constipation, this can cause wee problems because the bladder and bowel are closely related
