Change is on the way for me which means I will be running Five Senses Therapy slightly differently. An employment opportunity has come my way with Visionary, an organisation that supports the sight loss sector.
Since losing my sight my two passions have been working with you through Five Senses Therapy and volunteering within the VI Community, so it is important for me to keep doing both of these.
This means that my massage therapy practice will be open every four weeks on a Saturday starting from 22nd April. If you are booked in on a Thursday leading up to this date, your appointment is not affected.
I am really excited about combining this new chapter of my life with supporting you and your wellbeing through Five Senses Therapy.
Everything else stays the same. Kath will still welcome you and you can continue to book your appointment via Fresha.

How often do you check in with how you are feeling both in your mind and body?
It is easy to press on with the day and to ignore what our body is saying and what our mind really needs.
Being still and mindful of what is going on for us can seem like an impossible thing to do. You haven’t got time, you want to protect yourself from the truth, society tells us to dig deep and carry on regardless.
Self-reflection is a skill and therefore we can all get better at it and reap the benefits of this practice.
Circle creates an ideal place for self-reflection.
Held by the community of women it is an opportunity to pause and be in supported stillness so that we can discover what we need.
The Senses Circle Series starts on Wednesday 15th March. Over 10 weeks we shall come together fortnightly and use our five senses in turn as a path into ourselves.

Circle creates an ideal place for self-reflection.
It is a place that welcomes the whole self with open arms. We sit together and value ourselves and each other and the space we create together.
It is dynamic and flows just how it is required too. As we hold each unique story we are able to witness our own needs and find connection.
In our busy over scheduled lives, the Senses Circle Series provides an opportunity to press pause and be at one with ourselves and our community.
Join me and others like you on 15th March, the fortnightly for 10 weeks as we go on a journey lead by our senses to a place of self connection.

Have you heard of women's circles?
Yes? No?
Even if you've answered no to this question, you can probably conjure up an idea of what they are because they are beautifully and simply a gathering of women. Yet the experience is so empowering and nurturing.
The Circle provides a place free of judgement or well-meaning advice allowing us to connect and give voice to our inner thoughts and feelings.
This gives us freedom to be present with what comes up for us in the moment and this is why women are engaging in this ancient practice all over the UK and it is fast becoming central to self-care routines.
If you're curious about the benefits of circle or you feel there is a need, or space, for connection in your life, you can read more about the Senses Circle Series beginning on the 15th March and reserve your place via this link tinyurl.com/mrx5jjv3

When it comes to our friends and family we are all master problem solvers. Without thinking we share our opinion and give advice because we want to help our loved one.
The power of Circle is that we turn off our advice monkey and we listen and hold the space for each other, and this is when the magic happens.
There is a freedom in giving voice to our inner thoughts and feelings. Releasing whatever is on our mind, be that joy, frustration, gratitude, hurt, anything.
Circle welcomes our whole being without judgement.
Come and join me in creating this special place.

Yes? No?
Even if you've answered no to this question, you can probably conjure up an idea of what they are because they are beautifully and simply a gathering of women. Yet the experience is so empowering and nurturing.

The freedom to give voice and be present with what comes up for us in the moment is liberating and this is why women are engaging in this ancient practice all over the UK and it is fast becoming central to self-care routines.
