I had such a lovely morning at this ‘in home’ newborn photoshoot this morning. 3 day old Ronnie cuddles were amazing and it was great to get back together with his mummy, daddy and big brother Louie after photographing their wedding almost a year ago 🥰

🔍 About Me: I’m a mental health nurse in my regular job, but photography is something I’ve been super passionate about since my first lad was born (9 years ago 😳 ) I’m based in Nottinghamshire, with a love for storytelling through visuals. Whether it’s a candid portrait or a breathtaking landscape, I strive to evoke emotion and create lasting memories. The two little beauties in the photo ⬆️ are my sons Bobby (9) and Rory (6- almost). We live with my partner Josh, our spaniel X Bonnie, Ragdoll cat called Barney and Maine C**n X called Bella 🐶 🐱

📷 My Journey: My journey into photography when I was the managing director of a little cafe in Nottinghamshire called The Milk Lounge, sparked by the want to give special memories to parents at a really low cost, making beautiful portraits accessible to all. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to freeze time and document the beauty around us.

Editing seems to be taking slightly longer than it usually does today… I wonder why! 🐶

This is my weekend face, no make up and absolutely shattered… be kind 🤭

I entered 2024 at my regular job as a mental health nurse on a night shift, got home and slept for exactly 3 hours before getting up doing the laundry (before I knew laundry on New Year’s Day was bad luck).

I’ve just finalised and sent off this wonderful gallery and now I’m moving on to last weeks ceremony photo edits! There’s no rest for the wicked, but I’m hoping that today isn’t a taste of whats to come in the next year… I need more sleep and to prioritise my time better 💤

I had the most unreal day today at Luna and Ryan’s Handfasting Ceremony. The rain poured down but it didn’t dampen any spirits. I learnt so much about this gorgeous tradition and ima teach you too:

A handfasting ceremony is a symbolic ritual where a couple’s hands are tied together with cords to represent their union and commitment. It’s like a personalised wedding ceremony, and honestly it was beautiful! The binding of hands is a symbolic gesture of unity, and the cords used may incorporate meaningful colors or patterns. Celtic handfasting ceremonies often emphasise the couple’s connection to the earth and their journey together.

Lots of things going on in my world right now, which leaves me to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a very happy new year🎄

Apart from a special little shoot on Sunday and a wedding between Christmas and New Year I’m switching off and not taking anymore bookings until 2024. I’m REALLY looking forward to spending some quality time with my partner and children.

I hope you have the most magical festive period with your loved ones! Can’t thank everyone enough for all the support throughout 2023, catch you next year ❤️

Took the ladies out for a big walk in the woods this morning. The perfect winter sunrise 👌🏼

13 Christmas mini proofing galleries have been sent out this evening… you’ve all got between 70 & 100 photographs to choose your favourite three from!
The gallery is super easy to use, just press the ♥️ to favourite the ones you love the most and let me know when you’ve finished, if I’ve not heard from you by Friday I shall use the ones that I can see you’ve selected and will edit over the weekend. As promised you’ll have your final images by Tuesday 14th November, as my 10 days doesn’t include the shoot date itself.
If you can’t decide and choose more than three, that’s fine! I charge £5 per extra image so I’ll send you an invoice for any extras 🎅

I’ve just put the info of my Christmas minis on my story. Here’s an example, I’d provide more but the eldest decided bunny ears behind the youngest head was appropriate throughout this little taster shoot. They had also managed to kick all the cushions off the bed by this point. Still chose it though because I like the way it makes them look as if they love each other 💕
