I've had quite a few new followers recently, so I thought I would do a meet the maker post.

I'm Heather, mum to 3 grown-up children - 25, 22 & 17 (2 boys & a girl), married to my husband for 27 years....

My daughter is now 22, I first started knitting Barbie dolls clothes for her dolls when she was younger.

My beret hats were my first item that got me started. I now do twisted headbands, beanies,handwarmers, eco-cloths, mug hugs, etc.

I work in a school kitchen, term time, which means I knit mainly in the evenings & in the school holidays (when I'm not taxi-ing 😄)

I also do party hats in various sizes - no more torn paper hats from the Christmas crackers! And these ones are machine washable....

The mini stockings are just big enough to hold a small treat, & small enough to hang on the Christmas 🎄 tree. They can also be used as place settings holding the cutlery - knife,fork & spoon
