This month we have an incredible lineup with a variety of newer comedians, and more established acts working our their brand new funnies!

The night will be held together by resident MC Mark Row who will be introducing 6/7 acts each evening with a variety of jokes, acts and genres for you all to enjoy.

What is the Comedy Cow Festival Launch Night❓
On February 10th we are holding a caberate comedy night in Marston Moretaine. On this night, early bird weekend tickets can be purchased for the festival👉 Tickets here https://www.thecomedycow.co.uk/event-146-comedy-festival-launch-night-friday-10-february-2023.aspx

Hom much are tickets❓
Earlybird weekend tickets will be around the £46 mark. This will give you access to the Friday night show with 4 great acts, plus 7, 1 hour preview shows on the Saturday.

How many weekend tickets are there❓
This will be limited to 180, if all those at the launch night purchase a ticket, it may sell out that evening.

Can I just go to the Friday night or Saturday day only❓
You will be able to go to just the Friday night or Saturday day, however if all weekend tickets sell, there may be no individual day tickets released, these will not be released until March

Can I just go to a show❓
We will be offering tickets to single shows this year, however these will be on Saturday and restricted to a specific venue.

Can under 18's go❓
The weekend tickets due to th comics and locations is strictly 18➕. However the single shows will have lower age limits including a family show for 6years and older.

When will tickets be on general sale❓
Earlybird weekend tickets will go on general sale, 6pm on Saturday 11th.

Will we have more details before the tickets are released❓
Yes - there will be a specific festival website with all the information with timings, locations and set up. We will also be sharing information in bar and food options.

What acts are going to be on❓
All the acts that are booked will be released with timings when the festival website is released, not all acts are booked and some will be booked late towards the event, (not all acts know what they are doing yet)

On Saturday 9th July we have the best acts on the comedy circuit showcasing their talents before they move to Edinburgh for the month. There are performances from different acts in different venues. The event will run with The Bell and The Town and Gown hosting acts at the same time, this will alternate with Moretyene Manor which will host shows independently, the end of the night will comprise of a standard circuit show at Moretyene Manor.

Lucy Porter: Wake-Up Call

A brand new stand-up show from the fringe favourite. As heard on Radio 4’s The News Quiz and The Now Show. TV appearances include Would I Lie to You, QI and Live at the Apollo.

Wake-Up Call is a show about revelations, realisations and epiphanies - both large and small. Subjects covered include: Bin collection schedules, the novels of Jean Rhys, cats, school fair booze tombola’s, the Scottish Enlightenment, pressure washers and Huel. It’s an exuberant, silly show with some wisdom sprinkled on top.

As much as we love our weekend festival, Covid is still impacting on organisation for such a big event when it is not your main job.

However.............

We have had a lovely little trip and chat to the Town and Gown Coffee, The Manor House and The Bell in Marston Moretain.

All we can say is a Saturday in July we are looking to bring day of Edinburgh preview shows around all three venues.
