And so it begins.... I've spent all morning moving boxes from the basement up to my new studio. I have a lot of stuff so it's going to take a while to figure out where it all needs to live for an efficient working space but I love working things out. Most important of all it has a good feel and the daylight makes a world of difference to my mood. This is a good thing because I'll need to spend a large part of my life in here working. I've started filming the process of moving things in and shuffling it all around so hopefully that'll be an interesting video for you all soon. Better keep moving before my muscles stiffen up and I can move... I'm not used to this sort of movement these days!
I'm making a batch of mini spell jar pendants today in all the colours! I love the way the paper towels I use end up being a piece of art of their own too :) Who fancies even more witchy themed stuff? I have some ideas but feel free to drop your own requests on the comments below to inspire me :)
Finally finished my very first backpack! It's only taken 12 years to get around to it! Proper video and photoshoot to come soon.
One stitch at a time. 100% human made. Patience isn't something I have a lot of but hand stitching takes time so I use it as my meditation. I have a lot of my best ideas while stitching when my mind is wandering. I decided to save the removable front pocket till I have more time to develop a suitable way to easily attach it. This one will be standard because I really want to get it finished as soon as I can and get it up on my new website. I'm over 10 hours into this so far and I reckon I have another 5 or so to get it fully finished. 🙃
