Happy Sunday everyone! I really enjoyed catering for a special birthday of a teenage girl this weekend. I had to change a couple of items on the menu to suit the teenage taste buds. The feedback was fantastic. This was preparation only, the customer collected the food themselves. Also available as a completely set up grazing table in your home or venue.

It’s been a long time since my last post.It’s been very busy at work (at the Royal Armouries as pastry chef) and also with family events. Happy New Year! Hope you all had an amazing new year start!👍
I had to rethink the concept of my little bakery and will be offering from now on: celebration cakes, small cakes orders of 8+ pieces and catering for your special events. I know my afternoon teas are mega popular but unfortunately I have to start preparing things in bulk to make it viable, so afternoon teas would be on offer as part of the events’ catering. I want keep striving to offer best quality and not raise prices to keep it affordable, so volume is the only thing I have to change.
This weekend however I am offering a special price for a box of 4 cakes, £12 only (usual price £14) :

A little flashback into summer (only about 2 weeks ago)! I really enjoyed setting up this grazing table probably on the hottest day of the year🥵☀️🍔. Had to split the spread between the garden table and kitchen side, as the sandwiches and burgers wouldn’t survive staying in that heat.
I have a couple of open dates for the weekends in October and November. Send me your request in a message and I will be happy to accommodate your taste and budget. Prices start from £12.50 (breakfast), £17.50 (lunch and dinner) per person and for a minimum of 12 people.

Absolutely amazing couple of days spend at Leeds City College for the the upskill master class with incredible Massimo Pica. We made some out of this world viennoiseries and entremets, I learnt some new techniques and recipes. It was so much fun and such a privilege.

It’s been a while since my last post, like everyone, I am super busy during this period.
This year we are going away just before Christmas so I am not offering any themed afternoon teas or boxes. However, I will be back in the LPG kitchen between 27-31 December. So please if you want to order any party food, afternoon tea boxes or grazing boxes for then, get in touch.
At college we have been learning/practicing fish preparation, and here are a few shots of our recent sessions. (Lightly smoked halibut steak, plaice ballotine with squid ink mousseline, fish tacos, deconstructed fish pie with pickled fennel and warm tartar sauce) One of my favourite foods😋🐟🐠

Busy busy for the last couple of weeks. Lots of cake orders, 50 cupcakes order for the Black History Month from a corporate customer and catering for events, thank you so much for keeping me run off my feet. The new job is fun also, learning how to produce perfect bakes at a mass production scale.

What a crazy week (last week🤪) it has been! I have started the Professional Cookery Course level 3 at my favourite Leeds City College. First session was on Tuesday and we had to produce 2 dishes using ingredients from a “mystery box”. I think it’s the hardest task as you have to turn on your imagination and creativity. I made roasted beetroot and shallot tart tatin with a crumble of blue cheese and Brie on a side and pan fried chicken with caramelised carrots and gratin dauphinois with beurre blanc and parsley oil.
Wednesday I have prepared a corporate event for 50 people at LS1.
Thursday was my first working day at Royal Armouries as a pastry chef. That was an eye opener! Plating 750 deserts, the 100, then 70 - no problem, it’s all possible🤪.

Taking orders for next Saturday if you fancy an afternoon tea or a grazing box! I am definitely getting faster at my new job and hopefully will learn loads😁

It’s been a while since my last post and I am getting messages asking if I am still going on. I had a bit of a break over summer, just to recuperate and figure out how to go forwards.
We are all well aware of the increase of prices across the board. Ingredients prices have risen rapidly in recent months, in effort to remain and maintain LPG must also make price increases unfortunately😓.
As always I am very grateful for the continued support and understanding as I try to sustain having a small one-person operated business.
I am taking a part time job as well as a patisserie chef in hope to broaden my horizons and to offer something new as I seem to be stuck in the same menu and not trying to get out of my comfort zone. So because of this I will be offering all the items on the menu on Fridays and Saturdays only. The celebration cakes can be ordered on any day (if I have avaialbility). I also had to put a minimum order on some of the items.
I really hope for your understanding and support. From my side I will do my best to keep the same standards of high quality bakes and even improve where I can.
