Any child coming to the shop after school in costume as their favourite character on World Book Day can chose a free 99p children's book.

We're in the mood for love at Oxfam, thanks to the beautiful displays our volunteers put up today!

If you're having a clear out today (and what a perfect day for it!) we'd love your unwanted good quality books, DVDs, CDs and Vinyl.

We'd particularly like some beautiful art books, as that part of the shop is a little sparse at the moment.

No need to book an appointment, just come along during opening hours (9.30-5.00 Monday - Saturday).

You can drive up to the front of the shop unless it's Saturday when the Pepper St gate is closed, and we'll be happy to help carry your books in from the car 😁

Christmas cards... Half price. Grab a bargain.

You never know what collectible books we'll have in the shop... Todays selection includes a guide to Paris (in French), the enticingly entitled "Adventuresses and Adventurous Ladies" and vintage books about farming.

But sometimes we get donations that we need to reach a wider audience - specialist and very special publications that are looking for the right owner to truly love them.

That's where the Oxfam online shop comes in.

Our amazing volunteers Colin and Sandy spend hours of their valuable time researching these fascinating books, CDs and Vinyl and listing them on our online shop, raising more funds for Oxfam, and supporting your local Oxfam bookshop too.
